My Story
What better way to spend your birthday than climbing a mountain with a group of friends in the depths of winter?
After considering what to do for my 17th birthday, I thought why not do something to make a difference. We will be setting off to catch the sunrise at the top of Pen Y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons with birthday cake and hot drinks at the top to keep warm!
Having known Frank in all his wonderousness, I think it is a perfectly fitting thing to do.
Since the start of this amazing charity, seeing people coming together, raising money and sharing his story has been fantastic and so heartwarming.
After being diagnosed and battling cancer for two years, Frank's attitude, strength and bravery is something to always be admired.
So I ask, for anyone who can, please donate to this fabulous charity, share this page and spread the word!
Update: Saturday 13th April 2024
We made it up the mountain!!! Looking up to a drizzly sky full of clouds from the car park was not a hopeful start but once we made it up the sky had cleared a little and we even got a glimpse of the sunset.
So thankful to the amazing, amazing girls who trekked up with me. I'm so proud we made it up and did it together, for a truly life-changing charity.
And most importantly we did it for Frank <3
